APGA Disowns Edozie Njoku, Urges the Public to Disregard Nkoju’s Actions

APGA DISOWNS EDOZIE NJOKU, URGES THE PUBLIC TO DISREGARD NKOJU’S ACTIONS

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has emphatically disowned Edozie Njoku, who has been claiming the position of National Chairman, as declared by Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, the duly recognized National Chairman of APGA. The assertion was made during a recent appearance on TVC's Politics Tonight, where Ezeokenwa clarified that Edozie Njoku is not a member of the party.

In an official release signed by Dr. Tony Olisa Mbeki, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to APGA’s National Chairman, Ezeokenwa emphasized that Njoku's purported membership lacks validation.

He challenged Njoku to produce a membership card signed by Victor Ike Oye, highlighting that the party conducted a membership validation in 2019, during which Njoku did not participate.

Ezeokenwa revealed that Edozie Njoku resorted to legal means, going to three different courts through proxies, in an attempt to claim the position of National Chairman. However, the Supreme Court, in affirming the judgment of the Appeal Court, maintained Victor Ike Oye as the rightful Chairman of APGA.

Highlighting the judgments from various courts, including the Federal High Court Abuja, Federal High Court Awka, and the Court of Appeal Abuja, Ezeokenwa stated, "As of June 2, 2023, these three final judgments have established that the Supreme Court of Nigeria never declared Chief Edozie Njoku as the National Chairman of APGA."

The National Chairman further discredited a recent judgment obtained by Njoku's proxies from the FCT High Court Bwari, emphasizing that it was unrelated to APGA and conflicts with a superior judgment from the Court of Appeal. Ezeokenwa urged the public to disregard Njoku's actions, stating that the party remains united and undivided.

Finally, Ezeokenwa reassured APGA members and the general public that the leadership crisis instigated by Edozie Njoku is baseless and lacks legal standing. According to him, the party remains focused on its objectives, and the National Chairman called for unity and solidarity among party members.
